The Elite Comfort Air Mattress is designed for patients at Very High Risk of developping pressure ulcers and for those patients who are looking for the extra comfort: the top layer in visco-elastic absorbs the alternating effect of the cells and provide a very comfortable sleeping surface.
The entire mattress cell system (excluding foam base) and cover can be completely removed and laundered up to 80°C to aid decontamination protocols.
The multi stretch PU cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and impregnated with Acti-fresh biocide to help prevent the build up of bacteria and ensure it can be easily cleaned to aid disinfection protocols.
White inner substrate (underside of the cover) helps auditing procedures by making staining easy to identify.
The simple tactile control panel can be easily wiped clean to ensure there is no harbouring of pathogens unlike traditional dials and switches.
Easy access and simple to use CPR facility allows rapid deflation of the mattress to aid emergency procedures.

Independent cell construction means that all parts i.e. cover, cells, tubing can be replaced to save ongoing maintenance costs.
